How many nail strips will the pouch carry and what types does it take?+
The pouch carries up to 10 full nail strips. It is sized for paper, plastic and wire collated strips, which covers the common formats used in framing nailers, finish nailers and coil nailers on UK sites. Plastic and wire collated strips sit cleanly without snagging the lining, and paper-tape strips do not swell in damp conditions thanks to the water-resistant fabric and drainage eyelets.
What are the pouch dimensions and how does it sit on a belt?+
External dimensions are 230mm tall by 120mm wide by 70mm deep (around 9 by 4.7 by 2.75 inch). It runs upright on the belt with the open top facing up for fast one-hand access to the next strip. The pouch can also be carried sideways for low-stoop work. Two heavy-duty belt loops keep the pouch stable when full of strips, with no swing or twist as you climb or bend.
What belt width does the strip nail holder fit and how is it stabilised?+
The two heavy-duty belt loops fit belts up to 70mm (2.75 inch) wide, which covers standard 2 inch trade belts and most wider framer-style belts including our Hammerex 2 inch heavy-duty leather work belt. Using two loops rather than one keeps the loaded pouch stable when full of 10 strips, so it does not pendulum-swing as you climb, bend or carry timber across site.
Will the strip nail pouch survive rain on a framing or roofing job?+
Yes. The pouch is built from heavy-duty industrial-grade fabric with a double-lined reinforced structure, water-resistant material and drainage eyelets at the base. Light to moderate rain runs off the outer face rather than soaking the strips, and any water that does find its way in drains out through the eyelets. It is built for framing and roofing work where the pouch sits open to the weather all day.
How quickly does the Strip Nail Holder ship to the UK?+
We dispatch from the Yogyakarta workshop within 3 working days of order, with typical UK delivery around 5 working days after dispatch. The pouch carries a 1 year warranty against manufacturing defects, including stitching failure, belt loop tear-off under normal load and seam splitting. Damage from cutting tools stored inside or deliberate impact damage is not covered. Tracking is provided when your order ships.
Where does Hammerex ship from?+
Every Hammerex product is made in our own Yogyakarta, Indonesia factory and dispatched from there via EMS air freight. We don't drop-ship; the same workshop that stitches the leather packs and posts the order.
How long until my order is dispatched?+
Standard dispatch is within 48 hours of order confirmation, posted to EMS. Custom thread colour, custom company branding, and Pro Trade Cover orders add roughly +2 working days to dispatch because they're cut, stitched and finished to spec.
How long does Hammerex UK delivery take?+
Typical UK delivery is 5-6 working days from EMS pickup. We send tracking on dispatch. Free UK delivery is available on selected products; non-UK destinations are confirmed on WhatsApp at checkout.
Is Hammerex a new brand?+
No. Hammerex has been supplying the UK trade through wholesale distribution for over 12 years. We now sell direct from the factory so the buyer keeps the margin the distributor used to take.
Does Hammerex offer custom company branding on belts?+
Yes — most leather belts and tool pouches can be laser-printed with your company name and logo for +£10 per item. Open the "Your company brand name" slider on the product page; our admin confirms artwork with you via WhatsApp and sends a mock-up for approval before production starts.
What is the Hammerex Pro Trade Cover?+
Beyond the standard 1-year defect warranty, the Pro Trade Cover keeps your belt in service for 3 full years on the parts that wear under daily site use — re-stitching, rivet/stud replacement, buckle service, slider replacement, and leather conditioning. You post the belt to us, we fix it and post it back. You pay postage both ways; we cover all labour and materials. Unlimited claims for 3 years from delivery.
Can I get a custom thread colour on a Hammerex belt?+
Yes. Black is the house thread colour and is included free. Six other colours (Yellow, Red, Brown, Orange, Green, White) carry a small per-unit fee and add +2 working days to dispatch while we stitch your order to spec. Selectable on the product page in the "Thread colour" slider.
How do Hammerex multi-buy discounts work?+
Buy 2 saves 10%, buy 3 saves 15% — applied automatically at the quantity step on most products. No code, no waiting. Bulk and trade pricing beyond that is available — message us via the Partners page for a territory-protected wholesale account.
What currencies can I pay in?+
Checkout in GBP, IDR, USD, SGD, AUD, or EUR through Hammerex multi-currency accounts. Live FX, no hidden conversion markup. Your final invoice is in your selected currency.
How are Hammerex products made?+
We use the right material for the job — different leathers across our range, faux leather, and synthetic fabrics where they outperform leather (water resistance, weight, washability). Cutting, stitching, riveting, QC and pack-out all happen under one roof in Yogyakarta. Every unit is inspected on CCTV-recorded QC before pack — no outsourced assembly, no reseller in the chain.
Do you offer wholesale or trade accounts?+
Yes. We run a distribution-partner programme with transparent pricing, protected territories and fair monthly targets — designed around real demand in your market. Retail welcomed from 30 kg mixed product orders. Apply via the Partners page on the site.
How do I track my Hammerex order?+
We send the EMS tracking number on WhatsApp the day your order is dispatched. EMS provides updates from collection through customs to your door — typical UK transit is 5-6 working days. If anything stalls, message us on WhatsApp and we'll chase EMS for you.
