The slider takes the metal clip on the back of a standard tape measure and snaps it directly into a moulded mount on the holder. There is no pouch and no flap: you click the tape on when you grab it from your belt and click it off when you put it back. That makes it noticeably faster than dropping a tape into and lifting it out of a leather sleeve all day on site.
The mount is designed to fit virtually all standard tape measures, including 3m, 5m, 8m and 10m bodies from the major UK and European brands. The slider engages with the metal belt clip on the back of the tape rather than the tape body itself, so it does not matter what shape the tape's casing is. Every Hammerex product is made in our own Yogyakarta, Indonesia factory and dispatched from there via EMS air freight. We don't drop-ship; the same workshop that stitches the leather packs and posts the order.
Standard dispatch is within 48 hours of order confirmation, posted to EMS. Custom thread colour, custom company branding, and Pro Trade Cover orders add roughly +2 working days to dispatch because they're cut, stitched and finished to spec.
