What is the difference between the 30 kg bag, the 50 kg bag and the 50 kg bucket?+
The 30 kg lifting bag is the lightest, sized for everyday loads and foldable for storage between jobs. The 50 kg bag steps up to a heavier-duty fabric built for cement and bigger aggregate loads. The 50 kg lifting bucket has a more structured shape for mortar, plaster and tool loadouts that need to stand upright on a slab. All three share reinforced stitching and stitched lifting handles. Pick the variant from the product page.
Are the lifting handles strong enough for crane or hoist lifting on a scaffold?+
The stitched lifting handles are built for hand lifting and for site-grade hoisting of the safe working loads listed: 30 kg or 50 kg depending on variant. They are not certified slings for tower-crane lifting and we do not market them as such. For day-to-day scaffold hoist work within the SWL, the reinforced stitching and heavy-duty fabric handle the load. If your site needs certified lifting accessories, choose those instead.
Can the 50 kg bucket be used to mix mortar or just to carry it?+
The 50 kg lifting bucket is built to carry mortar, plaster, debris and tools rather than to mix in. The structured shape stands upright so a plasterer can dip from it, but the inside is industrial-grade fabric rather than a smooth rigid plastic, so cleaning mortar residue out is harder than from a builders bucket. Use it as a carrier and keep a dedicated mixing bucket on site. Wipe out and air dry after each use.
Will the bags clean up after being used for wet cement?+
They will, provided you rinse them with a hose before the cement sets rather than leaving it to dry inside. The heavy-duty industrial fabric is water resistant and easy to clean, but once cement cures inside the fabric it is essentially permanent. Hose out at the end of each pour and let the bag air dry, and you will get years of service. The one-year warranty covers manufacturing defects on stitching and handles.
Are these lifting bags suitable for scaffolders moving boards and fittings around site?+
Yes, scaffolders are one of the trade groups we specifically built the range for. The 30 kg bag handles fittings, clips and small fixings, and folds flat for storage on a tower. The 50 kg bag and bucket take bigger debris loads and tools. Reinforced stitching and heavy fabric stand up to repeated daily site use. Where does Hammerex ship from?+
Every Hammerex product is made in our own Yogyakarta, Indonesia factory and dispatched from there via EMS air freight. We don't drop-ship; the same workshop that stitches the leather packs and posts the order.
How long until my order is dispatched?+
Standard dispatch is within 48 hours of order confirmation, posted to EMS. Custom thread colour, custom company branding, and Pro Trade Cover orders add roughly +2 working days to dispatch because they're cut, stitched and finished to spec.
How long does Hammerex UK delivery take?+
Typical UK delivery is 5-6 working days from EMS pickup. We send tracking on dispatch. Free UK delivery is available on selected products; non-UK destinations are confirmed on WhatsApp at checkout.
Is Hammerex a new brand?+
No. Hammerex has been supplying the UK trade through wholesale distribution for over 12 years. We now sell direct from the factory so the buyer keeps the margin the distributor used to take.
Does Hammerex offer custom company branding on belts?+
Yes — most leather belts and tool pouches can be laser-printed with your company name and logo for +£10 per item. Open the "Your company brand name" slider on the product page; our admin confirms artwork with you via WhatsApp and sends a mock-up for approval before production starts.
What is the Hammerex Pro Trade Cover?+
Beyond the standard 1-year defect warranty, the Pro Trade Cover keeps your belt in service for 3 full years on the parts that wear under daily site use — re-stitching, rivet/stud replacement, buckle service, slider replacement, and leather conditioning. You post the belt to us, we fix it and post it back. You pay postage both ways; we cover all labour and materials. Unlimited claims for 3 years from delivery.
Can I get a custom thread colour on a Hammerex belt?+
Yes. Black is the house thread colour and is included free. Six other colours (Yellow, Red, Brown, Orange, Green, White) carry a small per-unit fee and add +2 working days to dispatch while we stitch your order to spec. Selectable on the product page in the "Thread colour" slider.
How do Hammerex multi-buy discounts work?+
Buy 2 saves 10%, buy 3 saves 15% — applied automatically at the quantity step on most products. No code, no waiting. Bulk and trade pricing beyond that is available — message us via the Partners page for a territory-protected wholesale account.
What currencies can I pay in?+
Checkout in GBP, IDR, USD, SGD, AUD, or EUR through Hammerex multi-currency accounts. Live FX, no hidden conversion markup. Your final invoice is in your selected currency.
How are Hammerex products made?+
We use the right material for the job — different leathers across our range, faux leather, and synthetic fabrics where they outperform leather (water resistance, weight, washability). Cutting, stitching, riveting, QC and pack-out all happen under one roof in Yogyakarta. Every unit is inspected on CCTV-recorded QC before pack — no outsourced assembly, no reseller in the chain.
Do you offer wholesale or trade accounts?+
Yes. We run a distribution-partner programme with transparent pricing, protected territories and fair monthly targets — designed around real demand in your market. Retail welcomed from 30 kg mixed product orders. Apply via the Partners page on the site.
How do I track my Hammerex order?+
We send the EMS tracking number on WhatsApp the day your order is dispatched. EMS provides updates from collection through customs to your door — typical UK transit is 5-6 working days. If anything stalls, message us on WhatsApp and we'll chase EMS for you.
