Why is the ratchet frog holder tilted rather than vertical?+
The tilted entry lets you drop the ratchet in and lift it out in one motion, without rotating your wrist to clear a vertical slot. On a scaffold lift, that small angle is the difference between one hand on the tube and two. Standard vertical holders force you to align the ratchet square before insertion; the tilted design accepts the tool at a natural arm angle and seats it cleanly every time.
What thread colours can I get on the Tilted Ratchet Frog belt?+
The leather belt and tilted holder are available with a choice of Yellow, Red or Orange industrial stitching. Pick your thread colour when you order. Yellow is the most visible against scuffed leather, Red is the more common scaffolder signature, and Orange matches the standard Hammerex SITE PRO scheme. The thread is industrial grade and sun-stable so the colour will not fade quickly on a working belt.
Does this leather belt fit all waist sizes for scaffolders?+
Yes. The leather belt is adjustable and is designed to fit all waist sizes through its sizing positions. If you sit between standard waist sizes or want a custom build, message the Hammerex team with your measurement (around the trousers, where the belt sits) and we will confirm the fit before dispatch. The belt is built to order in our Yogyakarta workshop, so custom sizing is a normal part of how we ship.
How is the tilted ratchet holder fixed to the belt?+
The reinforced tube-style ratchet holder is secured to the belt using high-strength bolts and industrial rivets, not just thread. That fixing method is what gives the holder its long service life under the load of a heavy ratchet being dropped in and pulled out hundreds of times a day. The bolts and rivets are placed at the stress points so the holder holds its shape even after years of daily site use.
Is the Hammerex Tilted Ratchet belt suitable for working at height?+
Yes. The whole belt was designed by scaffolders for scaffolders, with comfort and one-handed access as the brief. The tilted ratchet holder, the heavy-duty leather and the bolt-and-rivet fixings are all chosen for working at height where you need speed, secure retention and zero tool loss. The belt is covered by a one-year warranty against manufacturing defects, including the stitching, leather and fixings.
Is this scaffolders tool belt popular with UK scaffolders?+
Yes — it is a popular choice with UK scaffolders working commercial, domestic and industrial sites. The layout suits the standard UK 19/21mm and 22mm scaffold spanner combinations, and the leather build handles the daily wear of UK scaffolding work without going soft or losing shape.
Can I use this belt for tube-and-fitting AND system scaffolding?+
Yes. The layout works for both tube-and-fitting (where you need quick spanner access) and system scaffolding such as Layher Allround or Cuplok (where ratchets and a hammer get more use). UK scaffolders running mixed sites can keep one belt set up for both jobs.
What weight can the belt and stations take?+
The 2-inch solid-core leather belt is rated for the full UK scaffolder's daily kit — two scaffold spanners, a ratchet, a hammer, a tape and a level — distributed across the stations. UK scaffolders running this load report no sagging or stretching over normal working-belt life.
Where does Hammerex ship from?+
Every Hammerex product is made in our own Yogyakarta, Indonesia factory and dispatched from there via EMS air freight. We don't drop-ship; the same workshop that stitches the leather packs and posts the order.
How long until my order is dispatched?+
Standard dispatch is within 48 hours of order confirmation, posted to EMS. Custom thread colour, custom company branding, and Pro Trade Cover orders add roughly +2 working days to dispatch because they're cut, stitched and finished to spec.
How long does Hammerex UK delivery take?+
Typical UK delivery is 5-6 working days from EMS pickup. We send tracking on dispatch. Free UK delivery is available on selected products; non-UK destinations are confirmed on WhatsApp at checkout.
Is Hammerex a new brand?+
No. Hammerex has been supplying the UK trade through wholesale distribution for over 12 years. We now sell direct from the factory so the buyer keeps the margin the distributor used to take.
Does Hammerex offer custom company branding on belts?+
Yes — most leather belts and tool pouches can be laser-printed with your company name and logo for +£10 per item. Open the "Your company brand name" slider on the product page; our admin confirms artwork with you via WhatsApp and sends a mock-up for approval before production starts.
What is the Hammerex Pro Trade Cover?+
Beyond the standard 1-year defect warranty, the Pro Trade Cover keeps your belt in service for 3 full years on the parts that wear under daily site use — re-stitching, rivet/stud replacement, buckle service, slider replacement, and leather conditioning. You post the belt to us, we fix it and post it back. You pay postage both ways; we cover all labour and materials. Unlimited claims for 3 years from delivery.
Can I get a custom thread colour on a Hammerex belt?+
Yes. Black is the house thread colour and is included free. Six other colours (Yellow, Red, Brown, Orange, Green, White) carry a small per-unit fee and add +2 working days to dispatch while we stitch your order to spec. Selectable on the product page in the "Thread colour" slider.
How do Hammerex multi-buy discounts work?+
Buy 2 saves 10%, buy 3 saves 15% — applied automatically at the quantity step on most products. No code, no waiting. Bulk and trade pricing beyond that is available — message us via the Partners page for a territory-protected wholesale account.
What currencies can I pay in?+
Checkout in GBP, IDR, USD, SGD, AUD, or EUR through Hammerex multi-currency accounts. Live FX, no hidden conversion markup. Your final invoice is in your selected currency.
How are Hammerex products made?+
We use the right material for the job — different leathers across our range, faux leather, and synthetic fabrics where they outperform leather (water resistance, weight, washability). Cutting, stitching, riveting, QC and pack-out all happen under one roof in Yogyakarta. Every unit is inspected on CCTV-recorded QC before pack — no outsourced assembly, no reseller in the chain.
Do you offer wholesale or trade accounts?+
Yes. We run a distribution-partner programme with transparent pricing, protected territories and fair monthly targets — designed around real demand in your market. Retail welcomed from 30 kg mixed product orders. Apply via the Partners page on the site.
How do I track my Hammerex order?+
We send the EMS tracking number on WhatsApp the day your order is dispatched. EMS provides updates from collection through customs to your door — typical UK transit is 5-6 working days. If anything stalls, message us on WhatsApp and we'll chase EMS for you.
